Whenever you enter a building or any establishment such as malls or hotels, you often ignore your safety. In other words, you don’t check the place you are located as long as you know you are in a closed area like these buildings. But what if something happened like fire or earthquakes? How you able to know that there will is already an emergency if you’re inside the comfort room? Put in mind that whenever you enter a new place, you should always check the safety features of that place for you to assure yourself that you are somehow safe.

Few of the safety building features that should put in mind are the following:

1. First of all is you should check if the building has a security guard. It is unlikely if you ever enter a building without a guard in it. If you don’t see one, better not enter at all.

2. When you’re inside the building, immediately locate the emergency exit so that whenever there is a problem that needs immediate escape, you know where to go.

3. Alarms such as fire alarm are also important. A safe building should have a fire alarm for every floor so it will not be difficult for you to locate this type of device.

4. Water sprinklers are also important in case of fire outbreak. When you find one, you will also notice a smoke detector near the water sprinklers.

5. Of course, don’t forget the most important feature- CCTVs. Although it’s kind of annoying to see that someone is recording you, this is still very important because it can record everything and therefore it is a big help especially when problem arises in the building such as crimes.
